It was
physical hearing.
In view
of Covid 19 precautions nobody other than lawyers was permitted inside the
court room.

of the court started at 1200h as Justice Dr YV Chandrachud was busy in court no.1
attending to another matter with Chief Justice of India. As per plan court no 4
was to sit till 3.30 PM.
Our
layers were present in the court waiting for our turn. At about 2.45 PM Mr
Hujefa requested the Honourable court that OROP matter is pending and it was
decided on 30 Nov that it will be heard today.
Honourable
judge expressed that less time is available today as this court has to rise at
3PM and hence it will not be possible to hear and conclude the OROP today.

Ahmadi impressed that this issue is pending for a very long time and is an
emotional issue for large number of veterans and their pension. This should be
listed on top of the chart on next date.
Honourable
Justice accepted the request and ordered the case to be listed on top of chart
after Christmas vacation. Date will be announced later.
